PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect
Depending on how you use GTA6GUIDES, we may collect:
- Account information — if you register: your email address, a unique username, and optional profile details you choose to add (display name, bio, avatar image).
- Waitlist email — if you join the free Blackroom waitlist: your email address and your consent to receive Blackroom opening information.
- Community content — messages you post in public rooms, direct messages you send, member reports you file, and your block list.
- AI assistant questions — the questions you type into the AI assistant, used to generate an answer.
- Technical rate-limit data — a one-way hashed fingerprint derived from your IP address, used only to limit abuse of the waitlist and assistant. We do not store your raw IP address for this purpose.
We do not run an analytics or advertising tracker on this website, and we do not collect payment details — checkout is not available yet.
Why we collect it and how it is used
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To send Blackroom opening information to waitlist subscribers who consented.
- To operate community features: rooms, direct messages, reports and blocking.
- To answer your AI assistant questions from verified site content.
- To prevent abuse, spam and rate-limit violations.
Your waitlist email is used only for the waitlist you signed up for — it is not shared publicly and is not used for unrelated marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
How it is stored and protected
Data is stored in our hosted backend (Lovable Cloud). Access is restricted by database row-level security: private profiles are readable only by their owner and administrators, direct messages only by their participants, and waitlist emails are not publicly readable. Community member cards expose only display fields (name, bio, avatar) through a bounded interface.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we apply least-privilege access controls and review them before launch.
Third-party services
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, authentication (including optional Google sign-in) and database. If you sign in with Google, Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy.
- Lovable AI Gateway — processes AI assistant questions and community AI replies to generate answers.
- News providers (GNews and publisher RSS feeds) — fetched server-side; your personal data is not sent to them.
- YouTube — the music player embeds a YouTube video. It loads only when you choose to play it, at which point Google may collect data under its own privacy policy.
- Community map — the fan-made map embed loads map tiles from its creator's service when you view it.
Your choices: access, correction and deletion
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Waitlist subscribers can request removal by replying to an opening email or by contacting us. To make any request, email gta6guides@support.tech from the address concerned and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Deleting your account removes your profile; content you posted in community areas may need to be removed separately on request.
Changes
We may update this policy as features evolve; the “last updated” date above shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
